Linley House

My name is Mr Jackson, and I am grateful to be the house champion for Linley. Since joining Linley it has been amazing to experience the variety of competitions on offer and the unmatchable enthusiasm of the students. Working with amazing form tutors and eager students who take pride in Linley have made us a strong and competitive house.

Lions are renowned for their Loyalty, Pride and Courage and each of our students have embodied these traits in their inspiring cooperation, willing to take risks and the manner they display themselves within the school and in particular during house events.

Linley House were the fortunate winners of the house cup in 2023/2024 and the overall winners for both boys and girls on sports day. We hope to have our students repeat this feat with even more determined and hardworking students than ever before.

There is no better representation for Linley than the Lion, for like a lion our students always aim for their rightful place at the very top as 'King'; And just like every Lion we could not be there without our fellow support of the Pride. We recognise this with our continued team work and the desire to help one another.

Throughout the year our students will be competing in various sporting events; football, netball, basketball, cricket to name a few as well as academic and skill-based competitions such as art, book quiz, and even an online esport competition. We hope to have another successful year for Linley.
