Aldridge School Bake Off – A Sweet Success!
Yesterday, the school was filled with the delicious aroma of creativity and competition as the Aldridge School Bake Off Interhouse Competition took place. Sixteen talented students, four from each house, stepped up to the challenge with enthusiasm and flair.
Armed with ingredients and minimal instructions, the students were tasked with baking a classic Victoria sponge, but with a twist! They had to flavour and decorate their cakes to make them stand out from the rest. The results? Absolutely fantastic.
The focus, teamwork, and determination on display were truly inspiring. The atmosphere was warm, supportive, and full of house spirit, it was a joy to witness.
A huge shout-out goes to our House Champions:
Mr Jackson, Miss Irving, Miss Farley, and Miss Edmonds, who not only recruited and encouraged their teams but also supported the event from start to finish, including helping with the final judging.
An extra big thank you to our guest judges, Mrs Larkin and Mr Preece, who bravely took on the task of taste testing and scoring the delicious entries.

- 4th Place – Daniels: 115/160
- 3rd Place – Barr: 120/160
