Students Learn More About T Levels with Visit from Walsall College

This week, we were pleased to welcome Fatima from Walsall College, who delivered informative sessions to our students focused on T‑Levels as a post‑16 education pathway.

Following student feedback, it became clear that while many understood A‑Levels and apprenticeships, there was still uncertainty around what T‑Levels involve. In response, we invited Fatima to help explain this option and support students in making informed decisions about their next steps after school.

During the sessions, Fatima explained what T‑Levels are, the range of courses available, and how they are delivered. She highlighted how T‑Levels are equivalent to A‑Levels in terms of qualification level, but differ through their practical, career‑focused approach and the inclusion of a substantial industry placement as part of the course.

Both students and staff found the sessions extremely informative, and they have already sparked further discussion around post‑16 pathways, with many questions being asked since the assemblies took place. The sessions have helped to clarify misconceptions and broaden students’ understanding of the options available to them.

We would like to extend a thank you to Fatima from Walsall College for taking the time to visit our school and for delivering such engaging and informative sessions to our students.
